Reid Lifting PDQ 1320lb Portable Aluminum Davit Crane – Winch & Shackle

Meet the PortaDavit Quantum (PDQ) 1320lb davit crane, from Reid Lifting; engineered for maximum mobility, the PDQ is the go-to solution for lifting and lowering heavy goods in tight, hard-to-reach spaces, especially in water maintenance and industrial applications.   

Made entirely out of high-grade anodized aluminum with a zero-weld design, the PDQ is built to last.  It’s corrosion-resistant, structurally robust and incredibly lightweight; weighing as little as 42lb without compromising on strength.  That means you can carry it, deploy it and get lifting in minutes, without heavy machinery or added manpower.   

This version of the PDQ – 1320lb Winched - is designed to accommodate manual winches mounted directly onto the davit column or backstay, with cables routed through sheaves to the front of the davit for smooth and efficient operation. 

Additionally, endless winches can be attached to the shackles at the head of the PDQ, enabling the raising of goods over greater distances with ease. This configuration provides enhanced lifting capability while maintaining a robust and user-friendly design.

For enhanced lifting performance, the PDQ can be paired with Reid Lifting’s PlusWinch; a premium goods winch with a lifting capacity up to 1100lb*.  

Engineered for reliability, the PlusWinch features precise load handling, low maintenance requirements, and a durable construction to withstand harsh operating conditions.  

The PlusWinch offers versatile mounting options, as it can be installed on either the column or the backstay, adapting to different jobsite needs. Additional performance-enhancing features include, a free spool cable system, enabling rapid cable deployment and quicker on-site setup, and a built-in cable tensioner , for consistent cable layering and virtually tangle-free cable wraps.  For faster lifts at lower loads and increased leverage for higher loads, the PlusWinch also sports a variable length handle.

Together, the PDQ and PlusWinch deliver a complete lifting solution that maximizes safety, speed, and ease of use on every job; Plus, a quick release 2-pin bracket is included with the PlusWinch for easy assembly.  

 

*Please note, when used in conjunction with the PlusWinch, the PDQ lifting capacity reduces to a maximum lifting capacity of 1100lb.

Sockets and Socket Extensions

Boost Your Lifting Potential with Reid Lifting Sockets and Socket Extensions; compatible with a versatile selection of sockets and extensions, the PDQ adapts to your environment with ease. 

Available in x3 sizes, 19 ¾,” 31 ½" & 43 ¼”  in galvanized steel, Reid Liftings Socket extensions provide additional lift height or reach over obstacles such as guardrails, handrails etc.  

Simply insert them into the existing socket, using the integrated handles for lifting and carrying; then assemble the PDQ, as normal, using the extension as its socket.
