The included Megapod design features an adjustable height ranging from 76.69ā (1.95m) to 115.35ā (2.93m), achieved through telescopic leg adjustments. The tripod is equipped with securely connected eyebolts for personal protective equipment attachments and a two-pulley system that allows for the simultaneous use of both a winch and a retrieval block. Mounting brackets are pre-installed on the tripod legs, making installation of compatible equipment quick and straightforward.
Crafted from durable aluminum alloy, the tripod legs are anodized and powder-coated for enhanced longevity and resistance to wear. The head is made from powder-coated black aluminum alloy, and the locking pins are made of electropolished stainless steel for secure operation.
With a load capacity of 310 lbs. (500 kg) and weighing 52.42 lbs. (23.78 kg), this kit is robust yet portable. It meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.18-2017 TYPE A standards, ensuring top-tier performance in demanding environments.
